PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Flynn (ranked 7010 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dough Boy (ranked 4622 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Michael Flynn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Michael Flynn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Flynn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dough Boy!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Boy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Boy stuffs the takedown attempt from Flynn. Flynn gets slowly back to his feet.
Boy swinging wildly here.
Flynn attempts a counter takedown but Boy avoids it well and moves away.
Boy throws a right and a left that Flynn avoids nicely.
Flynn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Michael Flynn has been cut.

Boy shoots in and bounces Flynn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Boy won't allow Flynn to sweep him here.
Flynn working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Boy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flynn is adopting a defensive guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Flynn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Flynn is pulling down on Boy's head. It's preventing any offense from Boy, at least for the moment.
Boy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flynn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boy wants to control from the top but Flynn keeps moving.

Boy stands and steps away. Flynn gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Boy connects with a combination that backs up Flynn into the cage. Boy lands a flurry of punches that gets past Flynn's guard. Flynn is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Boy bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dough Boy!
A very excited looking Dough Boy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
