The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rinaldi has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Veer is on him like a limpet, forcing Rinaldi back against the cage.
Rinaldi is pressed up against the cage. Veer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rinaldi down to the mat. Rinaldi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rinaldi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Veer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rinaldi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rinaldi is trying to get back to his feet but Veer has full control of the position and if anything, Rinaldi has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Veer is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Veer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Veer keeps control of the position as Rinaldi tries to break free.
