Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Henry!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Harrell has been working on his balance at Nonstop Works, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Henry.

Henry looks to score with a jab to the body but Harrell is just out of range.

Harrell creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Henry sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Henry takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Harrell tries to move into full mount but can't pass Henry's legs.
Henry takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Henry is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Harrell cracks Henry with a big elbow.
Henry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harrell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Henry parries the strikes from Harrell easily there. Harrell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Henry to escape.

Harrell postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Henry takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Harrell scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Henry is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Harrell can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
