Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marek Koltun (ranked 1905 p4p, 216 weight class) and Oliver Queen (ranked 1893 p4p, 215 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 26 - 4, fighting out of Helsinki, Marek Koltun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oliver Queen!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koltun steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Queen.
Queen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Koltun.
Nice sprawl there from Queen as Koltun shoots in.
Koltun moves out of range of the leg kick from Queen.
Koltun tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Queen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Queen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Oliver Queen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koltun tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Queen defends well and Koltun ends up having to push Queen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Queen enables Koltun to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Queen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Koltun stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Queen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Queen pulls Koltun in to control the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Marek Koltun will probably get the nod.

Koltun shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Koltun showed some decent athleticism there.

Koltun is looking for a kimura but Queen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Koltun to get the leverage.
Queen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Queen.

Koltun manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Queen holds on and takes a little breather.

Let's hope that Queen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Koltun fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Queen avoids it really well and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Koltun is defended easily by Queen.

Queen leaves Koltun with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Oliver Queen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Queen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
