The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crowley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blackburn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

It looks like Crowley might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Crowley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blackburn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Blackburn wants to pass the guard but Crowley is keeping the position.
Crowley is pulling down on Blackburn's head. It's preventing any offense from Blackburn, at least for the moment.

Crowley has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Blackburn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Crowley.

Blackburn is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blackburn has left one of his arms exposed and Crowley doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Blackburn screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
