Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makana closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Makana pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Makana shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lee is trying to defend but Makana finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lee is trying to stand up here but Makana is controlling him well.
Lee wants to control but Makana is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Makana passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lee!

We've been hearing that Makana has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth.

Makana fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Makana has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Makana jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lee manages to avoid the submission attempt.
