The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Three fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Howard to the ground. Three is now in Howard's guard.
Howard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Three is looking for a sweep. Howard is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Three tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Howard escapes and gets back to his feet.

Three moves into the clinch.
Howard tries to pull guard but Three won't allow it.

Howard jumps guard.
Three stays in close to Howard's body and controls the position.
Howard wants to sweep here but Three controlling him for the moment.

Three avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Three stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Howard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Howard wants to stand up but Three is controlling him.
Three is fighting to break Howard's control of his arms but Howard is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Howard with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Three can't handle though.
Howard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Howard is looking to cinch up a triangle. Three throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Howard's body to avoid the submission. Howard has instead reached around Three's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Howard arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
