Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aloysius Wiremu (ranked 4965 p4p, 534 weight class) and Lucas Bishop (ranked 8964 p4p, 658 weight class). Wiremu comes to the cage accompanied by Billy Joel - The River of Dreams. Lucas Bishop acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aloysius Wiremu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

33 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Lucas Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wiremu is trying to defend but Bishop finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wiremu is looking for a sweep. Bishop is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wiremu is staying active underneath Bishop, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bishop is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wiremu!
Bishop misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Wiremu holds on for dear life, controlling Bishop's posture momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wiremu is trying to escape the mount.
Wiremu is squirming around, avoiding Bishop's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bishop with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Bishop tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Wiremu is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bishop avoids the attempt from Wiremu to control.
Wiremu suckers Bishop into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Wiremu is now in Bishop's guard!
Bishop is trying to control the position but Wiremu postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bishop looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wiremu puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Bishop regains full guard. Nicely done.
Wiremu throws a big elbow that misses.
Bishop is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wiremu is controlling him.
Bishop working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wiremu.
Bishop looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wiremu is one step ahead there.
Bishop avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Wiremu postures up.
Wiremu not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Bishop fails with a takedown attempt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wiremu, right into the meat.
Bishop tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wiremu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bishop throws a wild body kick that Wiremu sees coming a mile off.
Bishop is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A thudding body kick lands there by Wiremu!
Bishop looks winded!
Bishop on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bishop chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wiremu can pounce on him.
Wiremu moves into the clinch.
Bishop is trying to pull guard but Wiremu has him pressed against the cage.
Wiremu manages to break the clinch.
Wiremu lands a body shot.
Wiremu is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Bishop hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Aloysius Wiremu!
Aloysius Wiremu seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Lucas Bishop spoke after the fight, saying 'Lemme tell ya bout black folk, lemme tell ya bout negros, lemme tell ya bout niggas'.
