Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Finley (ranked 25135 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenson McIntyre (ranked 24575 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Esteban Finley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jenson McIntyre !
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntyre throws a right and a left that both miss.
McIntyre throws a right and a left that both miss.

McIntyre shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Finley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Finley has his hands clasped together around McIntyre 's back. He's all about the action.
Finley avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McIntyre .
Finley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McIntyre seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Finley is looking for a sweep. McIntyre is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McIntyre is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Finley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McIntyre .

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McIntyre in particular looking to stall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McIntyre moves into the clinch.

Finley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Finley is on top in guard.

McIntyre controls Finley momentarily but Finley frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McIntyre wants to sweep but no luck.
McIntyre has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Finley has passed into side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Finley landing strikes.
Finley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Finley tries for a kimura but McIntyre is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Finley gets to mount! McIntyre was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

McIntyre tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Finley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
McIntyre is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Finley is trying to stall.

McIntyre manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
McIntyre is trying to control the position from the bottom.

McIntyre punishes Finley's body with a nice straight punch.
McIntyre fails with an attempt to clinch.
McIntyre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Esteban Finley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

McIntyre shoots in and bounces Finley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
McIntyre must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jenson McIntyre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!



McIntyre shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Finley napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Finley regains half guard there - taking advantage of McIntyre 's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
McIntyre is keen to just control but Finley is a slippery customer.

Finley makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Finley.
McIntyre is looking to stand up but Finley won't let him.

McIntyre is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

McIntyre fails with an attempt to clinch.
Finley tries to counter by moving into the clinch but McIntyre manages to circle out of the way.

Finley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McIntyre , pushing him back against the cage.
Finley misses with a punch to the body.
McIntyre lands an elbow inside that Finley shrugs off.

McIntyre gets control of Finley's arms and successfully pulls guard. McIntyre will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Finley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McIntyre 's head.

McIntyre wants to stand and escape but Finley is having none of it.

Finley tries to close the distance and clinch but McIntyre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McIntyre closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Finley's guard.
McIntyre takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
