Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Long Schlong (ranked 1662 p4p, 165 weight class) and Calixto Cardona (ranked 8291 p4p, 445 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardona gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Schlong throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Schlong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cardona lands a slapping body shot.
Schlong throws out a leg kick but Cardona moves out of range and Schlong only half commits.
Cardona misses with a body kick.
We've been hearing reports that Schlong has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Cardona swings wildly with an uppercut but Schlong uses good head movement to avoid it.

Schlong is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cardona can't fight it off and eventually Schlong manages to take the fight to the floor. Cardona looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schlong looking to sit in guard and control but Cardona gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Schlong pulls Cardona in close to prevent any damage.
Cardona is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Schlong has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cardona is working away from the top position though.
Schlong is looking for a sweep. Cardona is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Schlong is positioning himself well to prevent Cardona advancing to mount.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Schlong counters with an outside leg kick.
Cardona connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Schlong momentarily.
Schlong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cardona throws out the jab.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cardona drops his hands momentarily and Schlong takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cardona looks to score with a jab to the body but Schlong is just out of range.
Schlong half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Schlong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cardona was covering up waiting for the punch and Schlong finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Calixto Cardona will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A looping hook to the body misses from Schlong. Cardona does a little dance to reset his feet.

It looks like Long Schlong has been cut.
Schlong leaves his chin hanging out and Cardona seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Schlong crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
