The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prieta misses with a wild combination.
Nevrakis is looking to clinch.
Prieta lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Ezequiel Prieta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konstantinos Nevrakis.
Prieta tries to circle away but Nevrakis has him pinned against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prieta wants to stand and escape but instead Nevrakis has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Prieta keeping moving, preventing Nevrakis from controlling successfully.
Prieta on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Prieta tries to get out of the position.

Nevrakis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nevrakis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Prieta is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nevrakis is pushing down on Prieta's leg trying to pass to half guard. Prieta is fighting to maintain full guard but Nevrakis has managed to sneak the leg through.
Nevrakis has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Prieta defend it? Nevrakis steps over the head and cranks it - Prieta is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nevrakis!
