And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Didi Hamman!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petkov fails with the takedown.
Petkov looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hamman throws a body punch but Petkov moves out of range.
Jab by Hamman.
Petkov throws the kick towards the body but Hamman avoids it.
Hamman lands a two punch combo.

Hamman drives through and clinches with Petkov against the cage.
Petkov takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Petko Petkov has been cut.
Hamman lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Petkov tries to score a body lock takedown but Hamman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Petkov tries for a takedown. No joy.

Petkov is trying to force a seperation but Hamman has the dominant position.
Petkov looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Petkov is trying to drag Hamman to the mat but Hamman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hamman lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Petkov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hamman after a bit of a struggle.

Hamman drops Petkov with a big knee straight up the middle! Petkov is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hamman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oh Petkov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Petkov takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hamman sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Petkov's defenses. It connects perfectly with Petkov's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

After the fight, Didi Hamman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
