Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elijah David (ranked 3452 p4p, 359 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 3559 p4p, 369 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Durden's choice of entrance music: The Dust Brothers - This Is Your Life. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elijah David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Elijah David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
David throws a push kick but Durden slaps the foot to one side.
David moves in looking to clinch but Durden pushes him off.
Durden looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Durden stalks David and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into David's face. David staggers backwards, shaken.
David throws a hook to the side of Durden's head but Durden sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Durden misses with a double jab.
We've been told by David's head coaches at The Gentleman's Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
David will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Durden scores with a jab. David acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
David cracks Durden with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Durden throws a combination but it was largely blocked by David.
David tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Durden was well out of range. Poor timing from David.

David lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Durden circles away quickly and effectively.
David dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Durden. That did some damage!

David sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! David crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Durden - the referee stops the clock and David gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Durden. David manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
David moves out of range as Durden throws a body kick.
David dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Durden. That did some damage!

David takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
David throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
David connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Durden chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before David can pounce on him.

David bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Durden's head.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Elijah David will probably get the nod.

Horrible takedown attempt by David or perhaps it was just good defense by Durden, which made it look bad.

That was a close second round but I would say that Elijah David will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
David wants to control from the top but Durden keeps moving.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

David doesn't manage to clinch there - Durden circles away.
As David backs off Durden throws a huge counter combo but David manages to avoid it all.

I would just about give that final round to Tyler Durden.
