Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larson Picker (ranked 1980 p4p, 227 weight class) and Jalaluddin Aziz (ranked 1999 p4p, 229 weight class). Aziz has chosen Dalshar Project - Afghan Rastaman as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jalaluddin Aziz enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jalaluddin Aziz!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aziz sizes up Picker with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Picker moves in looking to clinch but Aziz pushes him off.
Picker has closed the distance and engaged Aziz in a clinch.
Picker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Picker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Larson Picker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Picker looks to land a right hand but Aziz moved out of range.
Picker dips to his left and cracks Aziz with an uppercut!
Picker jabs Aziz right on the nose. Aziz blinks but takes it well.
Picker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A combination from Picker does no damage.
Aziz tests Picker's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Larson Picker has been cut.
Picker throws a body shot but no joy.
Aziz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Picker.
Aziz doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Donk. Aziz catches Picker right on the button with a cross.
Picker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Aziz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Picker misses with an uppercut.
Picker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Picker looks to clinch
and Aziz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Aziz slips under a jab from Picker.
Aziz jabs at Picker's body.
Aziz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Picker throws out the jab.
Aziz throws a big shot that misses.
The crowd cheers as Aziz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Picker doesn't seem phased though.
A jab from Picker does it's job there.
Picker scores with the left hand. Aziz knows he should have avoided that one.
Picker misses with an uppercut. Aziz saw that one coming.
A little jabbing left from Aziz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Picker swings for the body but Aziz moves out of range.

Aziz throws the left hand but Picker avoids the punch easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Aziz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Picker thinking.

Aziz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Picker manages to avoid it.

Aziz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Picker throws a predictable looking body shot
and Aziz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Picker throws a right hand that Aziz ducks under and follows up with a left that Aziz also avoids with ease.
Aziz changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Picker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Aziz moves out of range as Picker strikes.
Picker throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Aziz to counter with a crisp jab.
Picker jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Aziz lands a slapping body shot.
Picker tries to close the distance and clinch but Aziz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Picker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Picker jabs Aziz right on the nose. Aziz blinks but takes it well.
Picker blocks a jab.
A jab from Picker finds it's way through Aziz's defenses.
Picker misses with a looping right.
Aziz lands a lovely overhand right.
Picker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Aziz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Aziz is rocked!
Picker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Aziz is still on wobbly legs! Can Picker finish him?
Picker is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Picker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Aziz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Aziz throws a lazy right hand but Picker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Aziz catches Picker with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Aziz seems to have recovered his senses.
Picker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Aziz finds it's way round the side to connect with Picker's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aziz listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Picker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Picker is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aziz closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Picker out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jalaluddin Aziz!
After winning the bout, Jalaluddin Aziz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
