Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xun Wong (ranked 1685 p4p, 170 weight class) and Peter Kropotkin (ranked 2889 p4p, 238 weight class). Kropotkin has chosen EUKZ as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peter Kropotkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kropotkin throws a nice looking combination but Wong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kropotkin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wong is trying to keep an underhook but Kropotkin manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing good reports from Wong's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kropotkin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kropotkin.
Oh Wong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kropotkin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kropotkin connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Wong tumbling to the canvas! Kropotkin pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Wong was done - good stoppage!
