The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garner closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bean quickly recovers to half guard.

Bean is looking for a sweep. Garner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Garner has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Well, if Garner is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Garner connects with a nice short shot to Bean's temple.

Garner is taking a breather. Bean says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Garner lands a big elbow - Bean is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Garner!
