Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall wants to clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Marshall.
Marshall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marshall shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Massey is trying to defend but Marshall finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Massey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marshall prevents Massey from getting back to his feet.
Marshall wants to control from the top but Massey keeps moving.
Massey wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Marshall manages to pass to side control.
Marshall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Massey has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Marshall is on him like a limpet, forcing Massey back against the cage.
Massey keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Marshall's efforts to push away.
Massey manages to pull guard.
Marshall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Marshall trying to control but Massey is working from the bottom.
Marshall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Massey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Massey controls Marshall momentarily but Marshall frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Massey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Massey has his foot on Marshall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marshall works his way back into a safe position though.
Marshall wants to control from the top but Massey keeps moving.
Massey has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Marshall off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
A nice combination there by Marshall.
Massey is rocked!
It looks like Elroy Massey has been cut.
Marshall connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Massey covering up! Marshall comes in with a big uppercut and Massey goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
