Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shovel Knight (ranked 3375 p4p, 155 weight class) and Leeroy Lamalmar (ranked 3686 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes into the arena with X Gon' Give It To Ya blaring out of the sound system. Shovel Knight could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Leeroy Lamalmar's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamalmar lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Lamalmar scores with a body shot.
Lamalmar throws a nice outside leg kick.
Good leg kick by Knight there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Knight chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Leeroy Lamalmar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lamalmar misses the jab.
Knight takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A punch lands to the side of Lamalmar 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lamalmar connects with a leg kick. Knight looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Lamalmar lands a jab to the nose.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lamalmar lands with an uppercut that bounces Knight off the cage and back into range.
Lamalmar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lamalmar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lamalmar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lamalmar throws out a counter right but Knight avoids it with no problem.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lamalmar.
Knight throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Knight lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Knight.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Knight!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lamalmar misses the jab.
As Lamalmar tries to get set, Knight tries to push him back and clinch up but Lamalmar manages to avoid the attempt.
Knight takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Knight displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lamalmar throws out the jab.
Knight looks to land a body kick but Lamalmar moved away.
Knight takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lamalmar with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lamalmar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Knight takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That kick from Lamalmar tenderised Knight's leg. Knight is trying to keep his angry face on.
Knight avoids the body shot from Lamalmar.
Leeroy Lamalmar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Knight walks straight into a right hand from Lamalmar - that's dropped him! Lamalmar jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Knight from any more punishment! Knight complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
