And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Turnbull!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan throws a hook but Turnbull avoids it easily.
Turnbull comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jordan misses with the combination.
Turnbull misses with a looping left.

Arnold Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Turnbull's coach down at The Garden was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Turnbull's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Turnbull takes a jab right on the kisser.

Jordan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Turnbull connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Turnbull displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jordan throws out the jab.
Sloppy strikes from Turnbull. Those never looked like landing.
Jordan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jordan lands with a good body shot.
Jordan throws a lazy right hand but Turnbull sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A big left from Jordan misses.
Turnbull throws a right hand that Jordan ducks under and follows up with a left that Jordan also avoids with ease.

Nice defenses there by Turnbull.
Jordan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Jordan loads up on a big right hand but Turnbull slips the punch.
Turnbull throws the left hand but Jordan avoids the punch easily.
Turnbull throws a body punch but Jordan moves out of range.
Jordan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turnbull scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jordan doesn't seem bothered though.

Jordan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turnbull.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jordan, as that shot connected.

Jordan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jordan slips a jab from Turnbull.
A little feinted left hand from Jordan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Turnbull walks into a straight right hand from Jordan.
Turnbull ducks under a wild hook from Jordan.
Jordan is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Jordan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Turnbull on the side of the head.
Turnbull is rocked!
Jordan throws a monster overhand right that drops Turnbull! Jordan follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arnold Jordan!
In his post fight interview, Arnold Jordan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
