Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George Red (ranked 2352 p4p, 209 weight class) and Oleg Razor (ranked 3763 p4p, 293 weight class). Oleg Razor struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Oleg Razor looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red thuds his right hand into Razor's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Razor forces Red back against the cage and clinches.
Razor is pressed up against the cage. Red has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Razor down to the mat. Razor avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Razor fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Red, pushing him back against the cage.

Razor prevents the takedown attempt.
Razor doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Razor is fighting off a takedown attempt but Red is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Razor to the mat. Razor regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Red forces his way into half guard.
Red is pressing down on Razor's thigh, looking to free his foot. Razor is holding on for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Red seems content to control.
Razor tries to get to full guard but Red has control of the leg.

Red wants to work for an arm triangle but Razor is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Red thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Razor's head.
Red stops Razor from getting back to his feet.
Razor is looking to improve his position.
Red has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Red is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Razor!
Red scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Red prevents Razor from getting the reversal.

Red quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Red but it's paid off an Razor is forced to tap! Nice work by Red.

After the fight, George Red was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Oleg Razor was interviewed post fight and said 'One Razor down, many more to come.'.
