Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ayn Rand!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christos Eskenpopoludopulos!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Eskenpopoludopulos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Eskenpopoludopulos uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rand has time to react.


It looks like Ayn Rand has been cut.
Eskenpopoludopulos pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rand back to the cage. Eskenpopoludopulos follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rand or perhaps it was just good defense by Eskenpopoludopulos, which made it look bad.
A nice combination there by Eskenpopoludopulos.
Eskenpopoludopulos wants to clinch but Rand slips to the side

and Rand counters with a nice double leg into side control. Eskenpopoludopulos won't be happy with that.

Eskenpopoludopulos throws Rand to one side and escapes!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice combination there by Eskenpopoludopulos.
Rand seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Eskenpopoludopulos tries to clinch but Rand moves away

and Rand counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Eskenpopoludopulos told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Rand postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Eskenpopoludopulos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rand, into his guard.

Rand has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Eskenpopoludopulos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rand is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Eskenpopoludopulos rolls with it to try and escape but Rand cranks on the arm and Eskenpopoludopulos is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
