Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Asznee (ranked 1680 p4p, 227 weight class) and Alexis Anderson (ranked 1790 p4p, 242 weight class). Asznee comes to the cage accompanied by The Game. Anderson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pony kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Big Asznee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alexis Anderson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asznee darts in looking for a takedown but Anderson gets double underhooks and turns Asznee into the cage.
Asznee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anderson sprawls well. Anderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Asznee gets slowly back to his feet.
Anderson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Asznee doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Anderson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Asznee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Asznee takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Asznee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Anderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Asznee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Anderson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Asznee takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Asznee gets a double leg takedown into Anderson's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Asznee wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.

Asznee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Anderson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Asznee is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Anderson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Asznee gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Anderson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Asznee lets go of the hold and Anderson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
