Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between TJ Hearts (ranked 1962 p4p, 214 weight class) and Brodie Grundy (ranked 4623 p4p, 432 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; TJ Hearts! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 5 losses; Brodie Grundy!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Grundy closes the distance and clinches.

Grundy pulls Hearts into guard.
Grundy is trying to keep Hearts in close.
Grundy is pulling down on Hearts's head. It's preventing any offense from Hearts, at least for the moment.
Hearts is stalling in the full guard.

Grundy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hearts defends it easily.

Grundy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Grundy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hearts's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hearts's back!

What can Hearts do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Hearts is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Grundy defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Hearts is trying to stick to Grundy's back but Grundy is turning into Hearts. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hearts's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Grundy.
