Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piston Honda (ranked 1086 p4p, 46 weight class) and Ciro Di Marzio (ranked 1958 p4p, 76 weight class). Piston Honda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Piston Honda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ciro Di Marzio!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marzio misses with a looping right.
Crunch! Honda slams his shin into Marzio's torso.
Honda looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Marzio has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Good exchange - Honda coming out on top.
Marzio comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Marzio shoots for a double leg takedown but Honda sprawls well. He's pushed Marzio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Marzio tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Honda swivels and escapes.
Nice body kick there by Honda.

Piston Honda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ciro Di Marzio.
Nice straight punches there by Honda. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Honda.
Marzio throws a shot from downtown. Honda moves away and avoids it.
Honda has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mello MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Marzio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Honda throws a nice outside leg kick.

Honda uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marzio.
Honda fires out a quick counter leg kick but Marzio just manages to avoid it.
Marzio changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Honda tries to avoid it but Marzio manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Honda to the ground. Honda escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That kick from Honda tenderised Marzio's leg. Marzio is trying to keep his angry face on.

A big left from Marzio misses.
And Honda counters with a quick kick to the body but Marzio blocks it.
Marzio walks forward, straight into a front kick from Honda.
Honda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marzio manages to avoid it.
A thudding body kick lands there by Honda!
Marzio looks winded!
Honda throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Honda scores with a kick to the body.
Honda throws a nice head kick!
Honda is looking to slow Marzio down with leg kicks.
Honda thumps Marzio with a low kick.
Marzio throws a poor cross that misses
and Honda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Honda feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marzio's calf.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Honda lands a big head kick that sends Marzio tumbling to the mat! Honda takes a step backwards and waves Marzio back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Marzio is rocked!
A big right from Marzio misses.
Marzio is still on wobbly legs! Can Honda finish him?
A kick lands to the mid section there for Honda.

Honda throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Marzio seems to have recovered his senses.
Honda fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marzio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Piston Honda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marzio shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Honda's guard.
Honda bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Marzio's guard.
Honda not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Honda avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Marzio being controlled here, momentarily.
Honda tries to free his leg and advance position but Marzio is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Honda is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Marzio has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Honda is looking to defend but Marzio has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Honda! Marzio pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Honda taps out and this one is all over!
