Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Whitney Larsen (ranked 25213 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Garcia (ranked 6599 p4p, 0 weight class). Sammy Garcia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Whitney Larsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sammy Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Larsen.

Larsen closes the distance and pushes Garcia back into the cage.

Larsen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Larsen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Larsen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Larsen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Garcia is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

You can see the frustration on Garcia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Garcia might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Larsen haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Larsen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garcia on the ground.

Larsen decides to stand back up. Larsen steps back and let's Garcia get back to his feet.
Larsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nice uppercut lands for Garcia. That snapped Larsen's head back.
The fighters circle momentarily. Garcia darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Larsen counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Garcia isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Larsen stacks Garcia on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Larsen!

Garcia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Larsen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Larsen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
