Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Cage (ranked 2877 p4p, 143 weight class) and Baron Brady (ranked 5855 p4p, 205 weight class). Baron Brady is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Cage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baron Brady!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brady throws out the jab.

Cage closes the distance and clinches.
Brady scores with a knee to the head.
Brady fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Brady lands on the inside with an uppercut.
A body shot lands from Cage.
Brady looks winded!
Cage missing with knees to the body.
Cage lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


It looks like Baron Brady has been cut.
Cage lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Cage missing with knees to the body.
Brady blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Brady on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Cage misses with a knee strike.
Brady throws a head punch that misses.
Brady is trying to force a seperation but Cage has the dominant position.
Cage lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knees in the clinch landing for Brady.
Cage scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Cage has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A nice right hand lands inside from Cage.

Brady ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brady no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Cage is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brady looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Brady escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brady is striking off his back. Cage thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Brady wants to control but Cage passes into side.
Brady tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Brady is trying to control Cage's posture but Cage avoids it.
Cage is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Brady will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Brady wants to control but Cage postures up.
Brady tries to buck Cage off but Cage is having none of it.
A lull in the action here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brady trying his best to control but Cage has mounted him.
Cage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Brady slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Brady gets full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brady is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Brady looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cage has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cage engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Cage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brady swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brady trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brady dives in for a single leg takedown but Cage sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Brady fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cage, pushing him back against the cage.
Cage lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Brady is trying to push Cage away but Cage has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Cage on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luke Cage dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Baron Brady's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Brady feints a jab promting Cage to slip. Brady then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cage slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cage ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Cage looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Brady avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cage moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cage connects with a jab.
Cage goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Brady with a poor takedown

and Cage counters with a crisp right hand that drops Brady! Cage lets Brady back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


Brady is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brady avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brady is still on wobbly legs! Can Cage finish him?
Cage lands a brutal uppercut that launches Brady off his feet! Brady tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luke Cage!
A less than humble Luke Cage misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
