Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Lightning misses
and Kinney decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lightning's guard.
Kinney trying to control but Lightning is working from the bottom.
Kinney throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lightning works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kinney drops back looking for a leg! Lightning is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lightning manages to kick Kinney off! Kinney jumps back into Lightning's guard.
Lightning uses the cage to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lightning throws a nice looking combination but Kinney bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lightning thows a leg kick but Kinney checks it
and Kinney holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kinney doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kinney wants a takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lightning's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lightning throws a nice looking combination but Kinney bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lightning scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Israel Kinney has been cut.
Lightning throws a leg kick which misses Kinney's front leg but catches the back leg as Kinney tries to avoid it.
Lightning stalks Kinney and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kinney's face. Kinney staggers backwards, shaken.
Kinney is rocked!
Lightning grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Kinney takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Lightning cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Liam Lightning!
Liam Lightning decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
