Lyons misses with a few strikes there.
Jr gets caught flat footed, as Lyons shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lyons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lyons has managed to get both his arms back between Jr's legs - danger averted.
Lyons throws a big elbow that misses.
Jr has momentary wrist control but Lyons slips an elbow through the middle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lyons's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyons lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Lyons has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lyons slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Jr's face as Lyons controls the position.
Lyons is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jr is trying to escape and Lyons transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jr is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lyons! Very nice indeed!
