Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Woodward!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark O Madsen!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodward dives in and grabs Madsen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Madsen pushes down on Woodward's head and hops out.
Madsen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Madsen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Woodward could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Madsen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Woodward did well to prevent Madsen getting side control.
Woodward is looking to control Madsen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Woodward avoid being mounted?
Madsen blocks the strikes from Woodward.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Madsen in particular looking to stall.
Woodward on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woodward wants to control but Madsen is keeping busy.
Woodward is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Madsen scores with a couple of nice shots.
Madsen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Woodward with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Woodward is rocked!

Madsen slips a nice elbow through Woodward's hands, connecting with Woodward's forehead.
Oh Woodward is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Madsen lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Woodward quite badly. Woodward pulls Madsen in close trying to recover. Madsen postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Woodward on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Woodward doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark O Madsen!
Mark O Madsen decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
