Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Palmer (ranked 4467 p4p, 424 weight class) and Randy Balls (ranked 2841 p4p, 306 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Balls!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer defending well as Balls loads up on a big left hand.
Balls throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Palmer on the side of the head.

It looks like Michael Palmer has been cut.
Balls lands a lovely overhand right.

Palmer is rocked!
Balls fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Balls misses with a body shot.
Balls misses with a wild body shot.
Palmer shoots in looking for a takedown. Balls tries to sprawl out of it but Palmer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Balls manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Balls misses with a series of wild punches.
Palmer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Balls avoids it really well and circles away.

Palmer slips a straight right by Balls.
Palmer changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Palmer walks into a straight right hand from Balls.
Palmer avoids the body shot from Balls.
Palmer appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Balls lands with a nice combination. Palmer backs away looking to recover.
Oh Palmer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Balls lands with a good body shot.
Palmer seems to have got his legs back now.
Balls lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Palmer out cold! Palmer is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
