The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwadwo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Ben Lynch has been cut.
Lynch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kwadwo throws a hook but Lynch blocks it.
Kwadwo closes the distance and clinches up with Lynch, looking for a takedown. Kwadwo pushes Lynch against the cage but Lynch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lynch appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kwadwo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lynch.
Lynch is looking to counter punch.

Lynch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Lynch content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Kwadwo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lynch uses it to pass to side control.
Kwadwo is trying to work for a sweep but Lynch has mounted him!
Kwadwo is in a horrible position here. Lynch smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Lynch has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kwadwo's face.
Kwadwo tries to hold on but Lynch pushes him away.

Lynch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lynch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lynch jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kwadwo manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Lynch has control of an arm but Kwadwo manages to advance to Lynch's back!
Lynch breaks Kwadwo's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Kwadwo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lynch stacks Kwadwo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lynch!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kwadwo is looking for a sweep.

Kwadwo tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Kwadwo tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Lynch postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kwadwo looks a forlorn figure.
Kwadwo is looking to improve his position but Lynch isn't that keen on the idea.
Kwadwo wants to control but Lynch is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OH! Lynch has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Kwadwo smells blood and charges in for the finish! Kwadwo unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Lynch sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
