Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Murphy (ranked 24842 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Oakly (ranked 6939 p4p, 489 weight class). Jimmy Oakly will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Orlando Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Oakly!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Oakly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Murphy throwing a counter right hand but Oakly manages to avoid it.
Murphy thuds his shin into the meat of Oakly's side.
Oakly shoots in and gets a takedown into Murphy's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oakly looks winded!
Murphy has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Oakly is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Murphy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murphy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oakly looking for submissions off his back.
Murphy is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Murphy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Oakly for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Murphy is trying to work for a kimura but Oakly is defending well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Oakly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Murphy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Oakly is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Murphy scores with a couple of nice shots.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Oakly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Oakly lands in his opponent's guard.
Oakly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Murphy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Murphy looking for a guillotine here but Oakly defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Murphy has Oakly pulled in close to control his posture.
Murphy looking for a sweep. Not yet Murphy, not yet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Murphy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Oakly tries to free his leg and advance position but Murphy is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Orlando Murphy dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Murphy gets caught flat footed, as Oakly shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Murphy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Oakly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Murphy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oakly has managed to get both his arms back between Murphy's legs - danger averted.
Murphy controlling the position.
Murphy is looking to cinch up a triangle. Oakly throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Murphy's body to avoid the submission. Murphy has instead reached around Oakly's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Murphy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Orlando Murphy!
