The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chlapik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rutherford swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rutherford throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Jakub Chlapik has been cut.
Rutherford throws a quick inside leg kick.
Chlapik thuds his right hand into Rutherford's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Rutherford thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chlapik misses with a few strikes there.

Chlapik darts in and clinches Rutherford up against the cage.
Chlapik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rutherford drops Chlapik with a beautiful combination! Chlapik stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rutherford is looking for the KO!
Chlapik is rocked!
A punch combination from Rutherford misses.
Oh Chlapik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rutherford throws a right and a left that Chlapik avoids nicely.
Rutherford just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromChlapik.

No joy there for Rutherford, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Chlapik was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Chlapik seems to have got his legs back now.
Rutherford throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Chlapik crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Thomas Rutherford!
