The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.

Smith forces Huber back against the cage and clinches.
Huber wants to take the fight to the mat but Smith manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Huber wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Huber. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Smith breaks from the clinch.
Huber shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Huber looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Huber dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Huber's head and hops out.

and Smith counters with a nice uppercut.

OH! Huber has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Smith smells blood and charges in for the finish! Smith unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Huber sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
