Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kasey Scorpion (ranked 93 p4p, 13 weight class) and Royal Pain (ranked 229 p4p, 28 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Scorpion might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jiu Jitsu. Pain has chosen AC/DC Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Royal Pain has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kasey Scorpion's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kasey Scorpion!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royal Pain!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Scorpion. Pain does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Scorpion counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pain thinking.
Pain tries to clinch but Scorpion is having none of it.
Royal Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pain throws a series of punches but Scorpion moves out of range.
Scorpion scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pain takes one to the side of the head.
Scorpion feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pains jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Scorpion connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Pain drops down looking for an ankle pick but Scorpion pulls his leg out and moves away.

A very excited looking Kasey Scorpion made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Royal Pain spoke after the fight, saying 'Shit, there goes my chance to be like Mike.'.
