Lombard has chosen Shinedown - Sound Of Madness as his entrance music. Inspectah Deck had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard cracks a nice hook into Deck's ribs.
Lombard throws a wild body kick that Deck sees coming a mile off.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Deck checks a leg kick.

Lombard uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Deck.
Lombard tries to counter by closing the distance.
Deck connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lombard momentarily.

It looks like Hank Lombard has been cut.
Deck moves in looking to clinch but Lombard pushes him off.

Deck gets caught flat footed, as Lombard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lombard controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Deck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lombard on the ground.

My spies in Lombard MMA inform me that Lombard has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Deck tries to buck Lombard off but Lombard is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Deck has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
