Brooklyn looks to land a right hand but Mon moved out of range.

Brooklyn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brooklyn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mon feints a jab promting Brooklyn to slip. Mon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brooklyn slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Steve Mon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Horrible takedown attempt by Brooklyn or perhaps it was just good defense by Mon, which made it look bad.

Brooklyn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mon sprawls well. Mon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brooklyn gets slowly back to his feet.
