Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rooben Nevez (ranked 2556 p4p, 140 weight class) and Arne Arnesson (ranked 2408 p4p, 129 weight class). Arnesson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Raubtier - Låt napalmen regna. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevez scores with a head kick. Arnesson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Nevez thows a leg kick but Arnesson checks it
and Arnesson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nevez's guard.

Arnesson dives in and grabs Nevez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nevez pushes down on Arnesson's head and hops out.
Arnesson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nevez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nevez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Arnesson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Arnesson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Nevez throws a solid leg kick but Arnesson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nevez.
Nevez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Nevez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A little jabbing left from Arnesson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Arnesson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nevez.
Nevez with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Nevez tries to clinch but Arnesson moves away
and Arnesson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nevez scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Rooben Nevez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arnesson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Arnesson stuns Nevez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Nevez feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Arnesson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Arnesson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nevez thinking.
Arnesson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nevez moves away.
We've been told by Nevez's head coaches at Q Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Nevez throws a nice inside leg kick.
Arnesson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nevez has time to react.
Nevez tried to score with a low kick but Arnesson checks it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nevez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oh Nevez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Are you kidding me?! Arnesson ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Nevez clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
