The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baertum moves out of range as Miller strikes.

Miller feints and as Baertum raises his hands in defense, Miller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Baertum can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Baertum manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Miller feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Baertums jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Miller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Baertum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Baertum covers up and Miller unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
