Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mono Loco (ranked 3678 p4p, 294 weight class) and Lee Bruce (ranked 2708 p4p, 240 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mono Loco has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mono Loco seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce connects with a leg kick. Loco looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bruce cracks Loco with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bruce lands a nice hook to Loco's body. Loco takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bruce throws a nice outside leg kick.
Loco tries for a takedown but Bruce sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bruce throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Loco's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bruce connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Loco scrambles back to his feet.

Loco looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Bruce lands a right hook to the body.
Bruce lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Loco backs up against the cage.
Bruce lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Loco at a distance.
Bruce connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bruce.
Loco shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bruce pinned against the cage. Bruce gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bruce now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Bruce sizes up Loco with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Loco takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bruce scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Loco doesn't seem bothered though.
Lee Bruce is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Loco is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bruce sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Bruce is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Loco had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Loco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bruce tries to avoid it but Loco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bruce to the ground. Bruce escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bruce jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Loco takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Bruce tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Bruce is in all sorts of trouble here.

Loco wants to control the pace but Bruce is squirming around nicely.

Loco sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Bruce taps out!
