Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Slaughter (ranked 686 p4p, 99 weight class) and Chief Bear (ranked 1738 p4p, 246 weight class). Slaughter comes to the cage accompanied by Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter - Iron Maiden. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Slaughter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Bear!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bear doesn't seem bothered though.
Slaughter leaves Bear with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Slaughter slaps away a takedown attempt from Bear, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Slaughter, as that shot connected.
Slaughter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
We've been told by Slaughter's head coaches at London MMA Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Slaughter lands with a good body shot.
Bear takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Slaughter leaves Bear with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Max Slaughter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chief Bear.

Slaughter forces Bear back against the cage and clinches.
Bear blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Slaughter can't find room to land a body shot as Bear controls the action.
Bear has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Slaughter after a bit of a struggle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Slaughter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bear's guard.
