The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Rogers throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
OQuinn throws a counter combo.
OQuinn looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

We've been informed that OQuinn has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

OQuinn gets a clinch.
Rogers tries to work over OQuinn's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
OQuinn is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rogers is defending well for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rogers throws a looping overhand right but OQuinn ducks down to avoid it.
Rogers tries a low kick but OQuinn avoids it.
Despite the aggression on OQuinn's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rogers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. OQuinn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
OQuinn gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rogers gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
