The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hermansen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard.

Hermansen is fighting to break Jackson's control of his arms but Jackson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jackson has his foot on Hermansen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hermansen works his way back into a safe position though.

Oh but Jackson is tightening it up a little... Hermansen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
