Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zaurbek Akhmedov (ranked 1381 p4p, 159 weight class) and Rosario Fusco (ranked 1497 p4p, 168 weight class). Akhmedov comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet For My Valentine - Scream Aim Fire. Rosario Fusco acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akhmedov looks to land a left hand but Fusco moved out of range nicely.
Fusco waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Akhmedov.
Fusco lands with a straight right. Akhmedov didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Zaurbek Akhmedov has been cut.
Akhmedov ducks under a wild hook from Fusco.
An attempted straight right counter from Akhmedov misses the target.
Fusco digs a good body shot into Akhmedov's ribs.
Fusco takes a swing at Akhmedov's ribcage but misses.
Fusco walks into a straight right hand from Akhmedov.
Fusco moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fusco swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Akhmedov throws a body punch but Fusco moves out of range.
Fusco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fusco drops Akhmedov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Akhmedov looks back up at him and smiles so Fusco waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Akhmedov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fusco counters with a nice low kick that buckles Akhmedov's knee momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Akhmedov. Fusco does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fusco swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed right hand from Akhmedov misses the target.
Fusco tries to clinch but Akhmedov moves out of range.
Akhmedov misses with a hook
and Fusco counters with a huge left! Akhmedov is in big trouble! He's backing up but Fusco isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Akhmedov from any more damage. A dominating finish by Fusco!
