Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Angelo (ranked 2959 p4p, 147 weight class) and Leroy Brown (ranked 1180 p4p, 54 weight class). Angelo comes to the cage accompanied by Jack Parow - Cooler as Ekke. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a looping left.
Angelo tries to counter with a takedown but Brown is quick to defend against it.
Brown cracks Angelo with an open hand slap.
Brown takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Angelo ducks right into an uppercut from Brown.
Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Angelo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Angelo misses with a low kick.
Angelo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Brown lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Angelo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard.
Angelo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Angelo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Brown holds on and takes a little breather.

Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Angelo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Angelo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Angelo shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Angelo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Angelo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brown pulls his leg out and moves away.
Angelo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Brown connects with a single shot there.
Angelo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Brown lunges at Angelo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Angelo's hand.

Angelo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brown.

Brown has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
