Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brock Steve (ranked 4518 p4p, 237 weight class) and Nance Gibbord (ranked 4189 p4p, 219 weight class). Nance Gibbord will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gibbord misses with a body shot.
Gibbord fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gibbord slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Gibbord is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gibbord wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Steve has him pressed against the cage.

Brock Steve is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gibbord takes a swing at Steve's ribcage but misses.
Gibbord lands a nice looking body shot.
Gibbord gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Steve to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Steve is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gibbord can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Steve tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Steve pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
