Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Guy Brazier (ranked 7218 p4p, 411 weight class) and Snappy Whiplash (ranked 7745 p4p, 426 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Snappy Whiplash enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Guy Brazier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Snappy Whiplash!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brazier shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Whiplash but Whiplash pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Whiplash was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Whiplash fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brazier.
Whiplash looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nice body kick from Whiplash.
An inside leg kick lands from Whiplash.
Brazier throws a head kick that misses.
And Whiplash responds with a good body kick, but Brazier manages to step out the way in time.
Brazier closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Brazier tries for a takedown but Whiplash circles away easily
and Whiplash counters with a nice leg kick.
Brazier is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brazier takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Whiplash with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've been told by Brazier's head coaches at Cozad MMA Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Brazier shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Whiplash counters with a low kick, right behind Brazier 's knee.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guy Brazier. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Whiplash lands a big head kick that sends Brazier tumbling to the mat! Whiplash takes a step backwards and waves Brazier back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Brazier is rocked!
Brazier leaves his chin hanging out and Whiplash seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Brazier crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
