The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banuelos throws a front kick aimed at Cheat's knee but Cheat avoids it well.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cheat just leaning against Banuelos, taking a breather.
Cheat comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Mauricio Banuelos has been cut.
Banuelos should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Cheat stalling against the cage.
Cheat gets underhooks to prevent Banuelos's takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Banuelos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cheat avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cheat lands a nice elbow.

Bored Cheat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Banuelos.
Banuelos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cheat after a bit of a struggle.

That has opened up Mauricio Banuelos's cut even more.
Cheat has Banuelos pressed against the cage. He pushes Banuelos back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Cheat throws a beautiful elbow that sends Banuelos crashing to the floor! Cheat piles on the pressure with more strikes! Banuelos is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
