Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez fails to land with a series of punches.
We've been informed that Gonzalez has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Soshnyanin misses with a head kick.
Gonzalez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Soshnyanin.
Soshnyanin on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Soshnyanin misses with an uppercut. Gonzalez saw that one coming.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gonzalez! But no joy.
Gonzalez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Soshnyanin blocks a head kick by Gonzalez.
Gonzalez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gonzalez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Soshnyanin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gonzalez misses with the combination.
Soshnyanin feints and then cracks Gonzalez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gonzalez down.
A shot to the body from Soshnyanin misses
and Gonzalez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Soshnyanin moves out of range of the strikes.
Viktor Soshnyanin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gonzalez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Soshnyanin takes one to the chin there.
Gonzalez takes a head kick and keeps coming.

and Gonzalez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gonzalez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Soshnyanin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Soshnyanin throws a leg kick but Gonzalez moved away.
Soshnyanin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gonzalez.
Soshnyanin swings widly with a right hand
and Gonzalez counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Viktor Soshnyanin has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gonzalez throws an overhand right that lands on Soshnyanin's shoulder, as Soshnyanin tries to avoid the shot.
Soshnyanin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gonzalez finds it's way round the side to connect with Soshnyanin's head.
Soshnyanin is rocked!
Soshnyanin misses with a straight right.
Gonzalez throws a head kick that misses
and Soshnyanin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gonzalez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gonzalez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Soshnyanin throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Soshnyanin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Oh Soshnyanin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Soshnyanin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gonzalez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Soshnyanin seems to have got his legs back now.
Soshnyanin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Soshnyanin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gonzalez counters with a left and a right... And another left! Soshnyanin is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Gonzalez!
Anthony Gonzalez really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Cartel Elite Supps logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
