The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustafson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Uzo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gustafson defending well as Uzo loads up on a big left hand.
Gustafson tries to land a front kick but Uzo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Uzo attempts a counter takedown but Gustafson avoids it well and moves away.
Gustafson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Uzo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Uzo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Uzo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The fighters circling - Uzo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gustafson tries to clinch but Uzo is having none of it.
